Srinagar, December 13 (KNO) : Senior BJP leader and Member NMCME Ministry of HRD Government of India, Pawan Sharma on Thursday demanded regularization of all Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers who have completed five or more than five years of their services. Pawan Sharma as per a statement issued to KNO along with a delegation met Director School Jammu Anuradha Gupta and apprised her about the hardship being faced by ReT teachers. Sharma especially sought attention of Director School Education towards plight of ReT teachers serving in all districts of J&K who have completed five years or more in service. While hailing recent decision of the State Administrative Council (SAC) to change cadre of ReT teachers, Sharma said that all serving ReT teacher should also be regularized. In a memorandum submitted to Director School Education, Sharma said that regularization cases of ReT teachers, who have completed five years of services, have already been forwarded by Chief Education Officer (CEO) concerned to the Director Office after having cleared all deficiencies in the month of April this year. He regretted that despite clearing all deficiencies no action has been taken so far to regularize the deserving ReT teachers. He sought intervention of the Director to get this issue resolved. Director School Education Jammu gave a patient hearing to the delegation and termed demands as just and genuine. She assured to put up this case before the higher authorities for further process.(KNO)
